Up in a Cloud: Jessica and George’s Edgewater cloud-themed wedding

When a flight attendant and retired Air Force pilot get married…

Jessica reached out to me shortly after they had booked the Edgewater Hotel in Seattle for their wedding day. They both live in Colorado, but have family in the Seattle area so decided to get married in Washington. Knowing the distance and lack of knowledge of the local wedding market, they contacted me to see about assisting with all of their remaining wedding planning.

We kicked off our planning with starting to work on their design for the day because a couple of the big ticket items were already set: venue and catering through the hotel. In working through their design questionnaire and inspiration photos, it became apparent that Jessica liked things that were dreamy, sparkly with some blue tones. We decided to bring everything together and create a vision based off of being “up in the clouds”.

Bit by bit, we put the pieces of their planning together: Hiring the amazing Courtney Bowlden Photography, Oak and Fig Floral for their floral needs, and bringing together Revel Haus and Crimson Haze Lighting, who together did the gorgeous clouds and lighting together (including the dancing on a cloud effect for their first dance).
